Visit Us

Enaleni is a leading edge Pop-up farm visit and eating experience where guests get to explore the politics of taste and appetite as well as our food diversity. Food grown, harvested and transformed from a 350m radius of your table.

It’s a responsible way of eating local, with fewer food miles, zero post-harvest treatments and packaging. It’s fresh, healthy, clean, paged with stories of heritage, origin and cultivation, most of it hand prepared and celebrates a remarkable diversity of food and creativity.

Indilinga Guest House

Indilinga Guest House offers visitors a unique atmosphere. The guest house is an eclectic mix of architecture with an African art deco feel. Circles and straight edges are prominent features bought together by a five meter span of terracotta bricks that form a dome in the centre with a log fire.

The building, designed by Dalightful Dezigns, blends in with the surrounding hilly landscape. Coloured glass makes use of natural light and adds a warmth to the north-east aspect. Rooms are spacious and en-suite with ample solar hot water. Off the bedrooms and living area is a spacious semicircular veranda that lends itself to outside living with vignettes of hills, passing traditional livestock and country side. In the winter months the aloes are in flower and are spectacular (we have deliberately planted them for bee and sunbird fodder).

The open plan lounge and kitchen enables self-catering if required. Breakfast is available and the majority of the ingredients are sourced from the farm or other organic outlets. Dinner can also be arranged at a fixed price per head. Dinner reservations need to be made 24hrs in advance. We have a range of menus.

There are a variety of things to do in the area with: including Tala Game Reserve, which is just a 15mins drive; the spectacular Bird of Prey Centre, 10mins, and the Midlands Meander, a well-known area in Kwa-Zulu Natal, packed with things to do.
